This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D0883P01 and is part of the FL JFHQ, National Guard. As a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), GS-2003-11, you will formulate and implement the comprehensive logistics support plans, policies and logistics operations support, based on logistics data and requirements obtained from the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) staff, units, USPFO, NGB and other organizations; develops, coordinates and implements policies, procedures and requirements for unit deployment, inter-service support agreements as approved by the USPFO, emergency support for civil authorities, training exercises support and environmental compliance. Ensures coordination between units, JFHQ staff, USPFO, NGB and other agencies on command logistics support requirements; initiates equipment redistribution guidance; responsible for operation of the logistics operations center to support JFHQ Emergency Operations Center for Federal and State missions; obtains data from the Unit Status Report and the Material Readiness Report to determine and improve logistics readiness; consolidates all logistics readiness indicators to formulate an assessment of the command logistics readiness of the state; develops the Equipment on Hand policy that directs the supply and services officer and (DOL) DCSLOG/G4 to initiate equipment redistribution actions within the command.
