What will I do in this position if hired? In this position you will oversee staff who perform mission-oriented work and serves as a senior level advisor to recovery staff. Manages and directs regional recovery operations during a crisis incident or disaster. Typical assignments include: Supervising regional recovery staff, including assigning work, setting priorities, reviewing performance, and supporting training needs. Advising leaders and staff on recovery policies, rules, and program requirements. Coordinating recovery operations during disasters with government, nonprofit, and private-sector partners. Managing delivery of recovery programs, including Individual Assistance, Public Assistance. disaster declarations, and survivor support services. Developing recovery plans, training, budgets, reports, and recommendations to improve disaster recovery operations. What else do I need to know?
