An incentive MAY be authorized. Serving as a Supervisory Criminal Investigator GS-1811-15 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) under the Deputy Director (DD). The primary purpose of this position is to serves as Supervisory Criminal Investigator (Special Agent in Charge) and provides overall planning, management, and operational supervision of criminal and administrative investigations and internal affairs activities enterprise wide. Typical duties include: Supervising and directing investigative staff consisting of Assistant Special Agents in Charge, Criminal Investigators, Special Agents, Administrative Investigators, and Program Analysts responsible for operational integrity and facility safety. Overseeing criminal and administrative investigations involving felonies, misdemeanors, policy violations, federal regulation violations, internal affairs matters, and other reported incidents or crimes. Ensuring investigative activities and reports comply with constitutional requirements, criminal procedures, rules of evidence, agency policies, standard operating procedures, and chain-of-custody requirements. Leads strategic management, policy development, and interagency coordination for law enforcement operations, internal affairs investigations, sensitive investigations, and multi-agency investigative efforts. Manages enterprise-level OPR programs and organizational leadership functions, including program performance, resource planning, personnel management, training, stakeholder coordination, and reporting to senior leadership.
