The Marion VA Medical Center Education Service line is seeking an RN to serve in the role of Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) & Simulation Training Coordinator in Marion IL The Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) & Simulation Training Coordinator is an expert-level Registered Nurse responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating evidence-based education, including BLS/ALS training and simulation-based learning, to strengthen emergency response competency across the medical center. This role conducts learning needs assessments, designs instructional materials, facilitates mock codes, maintains RQI compliance, analyzes program data, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical practice and Veteran safety. The coordinator also drives performance improvement, supports accreditation readiness, mentors staff, and ensures adherence to infection prevention, environment-of-care, and emergency preparedness standards. Candidates must meet VA Nurse III qualifications, hold current BLS certification, demonstrate expertise in education, simulation, leadership, and evidence-based practice, and be able to work flexibly in a 24/7 healthcare setting.
