Descripción del Puesto
Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery performance.
Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and value for money.
Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders (POs), and other procurement documents.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contract conditions with suppliers.
Coordinate the timely procurement and delivery of goods and services.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the Store/Inventory team to ensure stock availability.
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and contract documentation.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues.
Liaise with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and specifications.
Verify that purchased items meet required quality standards and specifications.
Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and expenditure summaries.
Support budget control by monitoring procurement costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
Perform any other procurement-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration and Logistics or a related field.
Professional certification such as CIPS, CIPSMN, or equivalent is an added advantage.
