As an Policy Analyst, you will serve as an principal subject matter expert responsible for formulating and implementing citizenship and immigration policies within the Office of Policy and Strategy. Develop and draft new employment-based immigration policies and regulations based on available data and internal and external input to ensure effective coordination and integration with USCIS goals and objectives. Serve as a spokesperson for the office and agency with interested internal and external stakeholders on various employment-based immigration programs, policies, and positions. Lead inter- and intra-agency working groups on a range of employment-based immigration issues and provides recommendations to achieve agency policy objectives. Develop and deliver oral and written briefings, talking points, and other publications for supervisors and senior leadership to address complex immigration issues that may impact USCIS and DHS senior level leadership decisions Conduct research and balanced assessment on employment-based immigration policies, statutes, directives, and regulations to support the development of policy guidance Analyze and devise solutions to resolve and mitigate risks and benefits and various immigration policy proposals.
