About the Position: Serves as an Analyst, liaison, a resource of expertise and continuity for the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) Operations Directorate (DCS, G-3)
Advise senior executive and military leadership to synchronize Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) topics and strategies with Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA), and US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).
Evaluate operational requirements, applying technical expertise to assess USSOCOM operational updates and planning efforts to determine impacts on ARSOF and subordinate commands.
Prepare and present high-level information and decision briefings to staff at HQDA, USSOCOM, USASOC, and other Army Service Component Commands.
Assist in the development of operational plans (OPLANS) and concept of operation plans (CONPLANS) to resolve complex planning challenges and create viable solutions.
