Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations - New Orleans Field Office, Memphis, TN. Additional selections may be made for other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
This position will allow you to use your expertise in administration to provide advisory and technical services in a variety of mission support functional areas. Apply for this exciting opportunity to strengthen the Department's ability to protect the homeland by analyzing and refining existing work methods and developing new methods and procedures. This position starts at a salary of $61,722.00 (GS-9, Step 1) to $80,243.00 (GS-9, Step 10). In this position, you will strengthen the Department's ability to protect the homeland by becoming a valuable member of a team of administrative professionals. Your job will include: Coordinating mission support activities for a field office, port of entry, or program office to help ensure administrative services support operational needs. Preparing written products, including summaries, reports, briefings, and correspondence, to communicate findings, recommendations, and status updates to management. Monitoring administrative workflows and deadlines to ensure assigned actions, projects, and requests are completed accurately and on time. Clearly communicating to gather information, clarify requirements, support problem resolution, and promote consistent application of administrative procedures.
