Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Houston Field Office, Mission Support Division in Houston, TX. This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations (OFO). The purpose of the position is to plan and carry out a wide variety of mission support duties for the Field Office relative to logistics, procurement, fleet management, and associated functions. This position starts at a salary of $86,123.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $134,195.00 (GS-12, Step 10) with promotion potential to $134,195.00 (GS-12 Step 10). As a Mission Support Specialist (Logistics) your duties will include: Overseeing the agency's property management program to include acquisition, receiving, transferring, excessing, reutilization, repairing, and retiring of various types of property Conducting records management and producing various fleet reports and completing various activities within the agency's Fleet card program to include ordering cards, performing audits, extracting reports, reporting fraud and processing override requests Conducting the issuance, management and security of the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Program Coordinating facility repairs and ensuring requests are recorded into the facilities management system Processesing various environmental, security, and safety inspections and tracking assessment findings GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area.
