About the Position: This position is located at Sobe, Okinawa, Japan with the Department of War Education Activity Asset Management Branch Outfitting Team Federal employees in Okinawa, Japan are not currently entitled to receive a Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary; however, this amount is subject to change at any time. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is transitioning to the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA). Maintain organizational procedures and practices for safeguarding fund, properties, or other assets against unauthorized use. Distribute property or transportation to coordinate increased/decreased support agreement facilities requirements. Develop long-range and short-range acquisition procurement plans to ensure that schools open or close on time with the necessary supplies and equipment. Ensure all supply transactions are recorded and maintain in an automated system for adequate audit trail. Maintain automated property record and/or backup files for the impacted schools. Perform complex statistical analysis of furniture utilization, tracking pending requirements, distribution and/or inventory. Apply various software applications to include databases, project management, spreadsheets, graphics and/or other software programs to execute school realignments/closing administration. Manage assets, timelines, information, projects and/or reports with computer software.
