This position is located in a State or Area Office in USDA/Rural Development (RD). The incumbent has responsibility for statewide support of Community Programs, including establishing, marketing, managing and servicing loans and grants for community facilities, public utilities, and/or businesses. . Reviews and analyzes preapplications, applications and all supporting documents to determine loan or grant eligibility and inputs data into appropriate automated database system. Prepares written loan/grant recommendations and submits to supervisor for review. Reviews file for completeness and compliance with all prescribed regulations and practices before loan closing. Provides a wide variety of servicing actions for assigned less difficult loan cases. Analyzes annual financial statements and reports on closed loans. Works with a program specialist and/or supervisor in the development and implementation of an outreach and marketing program for the servicing area. You must be a US Citizen or US National.
