Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support to staff by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and system issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
Set up user accounts, email accounts, and system access permissions.
Respond promptly to IT support requests and maintain service tickets until resolution.
Monitor and maintain the organization's Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
Install, configure, and update operating systems, software applications, and security patches.
Monitor server performance, storage, and system availability where applicable.
Perform regular system backups and assist with disaster recovery planning.
Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect company data and IT systems.
Monitor antivirus software, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, data protection standards, and information security best practices.
Educate staff on cybersecurity awareness and safe technology usage.
Maintain an inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, and technology assets.
Coordinate equipment procurement, repairs, and warranty claims.
Liaise with internet service providers, software vendors, and external IT service providers.
Recommend technology upgrades and improvements to enhance business efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, network configurations, and support activities.
Prepare periodic IT performance and incident reports.
Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IT operations.
Support technology-related projects and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
Minimum of an HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network administration.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
Experience with network configuration, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and TCP/IP networking.
Basic knowledge of server administration, cloud services, and virtualization is an advantage.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, antivirus solutions, and firewall management.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
