Leads Real-Time Cyber Defense: Directs real-time threat monitoring, detection, analysis, and incident response across the regional enterprise network. Provides Technical Leadership: Oversees day-to-day security operations, serving as the escalation point for network events; develops training plans, schedules, and mentors Cyber Security Watch Officers and Defense Cyber Operations analysts. Develops Countermeasures and Collaborates: Develops DCO strategies, formulates threat countermeasures, and disseminates critical information alerts to Tier II customers. Conducts Complex Threat Analysis: Performs in-depth data analysis on complex cyber security incidents, prepare detailed technical reports, and utilize findings to establish new defensive criteria and assess program effectiveness. Advises on Policy and Emerging Technology: Serves as a senior technical advisor to management, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), and enterprise program managers regarding IT security and national-level policy compliance.
