About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W49BAA US ARMY SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND. Provide oversight, advice, assistance, and direct support to the USASOC staff and subordinate, supported, and supporting organizations, concerning specialized or experimental cyber, special operations, and intelligence policies and procedures. Principal assistant to the Director, Sensitive Activities Division and the Deputy Commanding General for designated Sensitive Activities, specialized intelligence, special operations, and cyber programs and their related processes and functions. Conduct analysis of increasingly complex and interconnected systems involving intelligence, special operations, and cyber, then develops tailored solutions to those challenges for USASOC subordinate, supported, and supporting organizations. Function as the resident expert for USASOC, USSOCOM, DA, and DOD for unique applications of designated specialized intelligence, special operations, and cyber programs. Serve as an Intelligence Specialist with primary responsibility for the development, execution, and oversight of a highly complex and specialized program providing support for intelligence programs. Provide technical guidance and expertise to higher headquarters’, subordinate, supported, and supporting organizations.
