Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:
Develop and execute the annual sales strategy and revenue targets, aligned to company growth objectives Identify and prioritize growth segments - HNIs, corporate/blue-chip clients, hospitality, government parastatals, and real estate developers Set pricing frameworks and approval limits for bespoke/custom orders, balancing margin protection with competitiveness Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform positioning and pricing
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, coach, and performance-manage sales officers and business development executives across Nigeria Set individual and team sales targets; conduct regular pipeline and performance reviews Recruit, onboard, and develop sales talent; build a structured sales training and induction programme Establish a consistent sales process, playbook, and CRM discipline across all locations
Client Relationship & Business Development:
Personally manage and grow relationships with top-tier clients - HNIs, corporate accounts, and government/institutional buyers Lead tender and contract processes for large institutional, hospitality, and government orders Develop partnerships with real estate developers and architects/interior designers as referral and project channels Oversee customer experience standards from enquiry through delivery and after-sales support
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work closely with Design/Architecture to ensure sales commitments match production and design capacity Coordinate with Operations & Logistics on delivery timelines, installation scheduling, and multi-city fulfilment Partner with Marketing/Brand on campaigns, showroom presentation, and lead generation Provide sales forecasts and input to Finance for budgeting, cash flow, and production planning
Reporting & Governance:
Report sales performance, pipeline health, and market intelligence to the MD/CEO and executive management on a defined cadence
Maintain accurate sales records, contracts, and client documentation in line with company policy Ensure all sales practices comply with company policy and relevant regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage Minimum 8–10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior sales leadership role Experience in furniture, interior design, luxury/lifestyle goods, real estate, or related B2B/B2C sales environments is strongly preferred Demonstrated track record of managing multi-location sales teams and hitting revenue targets Experience with institutional/government tender processes is an advantage Strategic thinking with strong commercial and financial acumen Proven leadership and people management capability High-level negotiation and relationship-building skills, particularly with HNI and corporate clients Strong communication and presentation skills Working knowledge of CRM systems and sales analytics Willingness and ability to travel regularly across company locations
