About the Position: This position is located at Minot Air Force Base, in North Dakota. Manage preventive maintenance, repair, and construction work to sustain safe and reliable operation of the clinic, equipment, and utilities consistent with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards. Perform diagnostic inspection of facility structures, related electrical and mechanical systems and equipment, and prepares necessary inspection reports and narrative assessments of facility conditions. Use automated systems to retrieve, maintain, and update documents and records. Oversee facility management resources including personnel, service contracts, financial programs, space utilization, and information resources. Compile data in the development of contracts and statements of work specifications based on state and federal laws, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) accreditation standards for health care facilities. Support institutional preparation for emergency and disaster response by developing plans for building, equipment, and utility recovery. Coordinate with other base organizations and various federal state and local officials to evaluate policies, procedures, and actual maintenance and repair activities and makes changes necessary for improvement.
