As the Director Field Operations (North Atlantic), Northeastern Compliance you will assist the Director of Northeastern Compliance in coordinating complex tax administration services to meet the needs of large and mid-sized businesses and individuals with international activity. The Director Field Operations North Atlantic performs the following duties and responsibilities: Formulates short and long-range program policies, strategies, and objectives on all matters relating to the Northeastern Compliance practice area. Studies compliance issues within the Northeastern Compliance practice area; suggests campaigns to be included in the work plan; and conducts examinations. Promotes collaboration within the Northeastern Compliance practice area and with other LB&I functions. This includes working with Counsel to develop guidance and improve compliance strategies. Provides executive leadership and direction through subordinate managers that are geographically located within the practice area. Delegates sufficient authority to subordinates to effectively manage their resources and to provide a supportive environment for creativity and innovation. Manages all human, physical, information technology, and financial resources of the assigned area and allocates these resources in accordance with overall strategies to further the accomplishment of specific goals. Continuously evolves to keep pace with LB&I's filing population, which competes in a dynamic, rapidly changing, global economy.
