The Radiology Department is currently seeking an MRI Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to add to their team. The incumbent, as a member of the MRI technical staff, independently performs high quality images on a variety of MRI imaging equipment while applying MRI Safety measures with every patient. The employee will work with department leadership in support of complex clinical and research. Providing advice and assistance in the design and planning of MRI-related research projects as needed. Modifying the imaging protocols as appropriate in order to optimize the capabilities of MRI equipment. Serving as a liaison between radiologists and technical support staff (scientific and engineering) in facilitating software and hardware upgrades and service. Operating scanner software systems as per department guidelines. Performing MR imaging within the scope of being able to image anything within the human body. Screening and coordinating patients for examinations, including emergency procedures.
