Responsibilities:
Set up the cement pump correctly at job sites.
Check the machine and safety parts before starting work.
Work with truck drivers to keep cement flowing into the pump.
Watch the pump during use to prevent blockages or faults.
Clean the pipes and pump after each job.
Follow all safety rules and make sure protective gear is used.
Report any machine problems or safety issues immediately.
Keep records of each job done.
Guide junior workers on safe pump operation
Requirements:
Minimum of an S.S.C.E certificate.
Valid license to operate cement pump machines.
At least 2 years’ experience using cement or concrete pumps.
Nigerian driver’s license (for truck-mounted pumps).
Certification in pump operation is an advantage.
Physically fit and able to work on busy construction sites.
Good knowledge of safety rules and machine handling
