Select, administer, and interpret audiologic diagnostic test results, acoustic emittance tests, speech audiometry tests (threshold and recognition), interprets auditory evoked potential and otoacoustic emissions. Develop diagnostic impressions and make recommendations, including referrals to medical and/or rehabilitative follow-up, as well as making work relatedness determination is cases of noise induced hearing loss. Select and fit earmolds and hearing devices. Counsel patients and families on test results, rehabilitation, and hearing aid use.
