Descripción del Puesto
You will serve as a ARCHAEOLOGIST in the Environmental Compliance and Protection Department of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
You will develop, maintain and execute the MCBH Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan (ICRMP) which affects the policies for the preservation and protection of archaeological and architectural resources
You will develop, implement and oversee site surveys for the location and inventory of archaeological an architectural resources.
You will guide and coordinate base and tenant activity efforts to take cultural considerations into account in the siting, maintenance, repair and/or new construction/operation of all Base and tenant projects.
You will ensure all MCBH Personnel comply with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
You will recommend modifications to undertakings, and/or drafts mitigating stipulations, to reduce or eliminate impacts to federally protected resources.
You will prepare cultural resources components of environmental assessments (EA) and environmental impact statements (EIS).
You will prepare scopes of work (SOW) and monitor contracts for archaeological technical services, archaeological and architectural resources inventories, surveys, evaluations, curation, and data collections.
