CBE Southern Africa pretends to recruit Riggers to safely prepare, attach, secure, and guide loads for lifting and moving operations using cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment. The Rigger ensures all lifting activities are performed in accordance with approved lifting plans, safety regulations, and company procedures to prevent accidents and damage to personnel, equipment, and property.

• Funções
• Inspect lifting equipment and accessories, including slings, shackles, hooks, wire ropes, chains, lifting beams, and spreader bars before use;
• Select the appropriate lifting gear based on the load weight, size, shape, and lifting requirements;
• Rig, secure, and balance loads for safe lifting and transportation;
• Guide crane operators during lifting operations using standard hand signals or radio communication;
• Ensure loads are properly attached, balanced, and stable before lifting begins;
• Read and interpret lifting plans, load charts, and rigging drawings;
• Calculate load weights and determine the correct rigging configuration;
• Establish exclusion zones and ensure unauthorized personnel remain clear of lifting operations;
• Requisitos
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred);
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Rigger in construction, mining, oil & gas, manufacturing, ports, or heavy industrial projects;
• Valid Rigger Certification (Level I, II, or III as applicable);
• Banksman/Signalman Certification;
• Working at Heights Training;
• Manual Handling Training;
• First Aid Certification;
• Basic Fire Fighting Training;
