Security Operation BPO

Summary

Two data center security operation BPOs are required in Johor Malaysia. This role will provide

services to cover security operation related work in ByteDance data center, including foot

patrols, complete forms, reporting, safety escalations, call-outs and response to incidents and

safety events.

Scope of Work (SOW)

  • Work in customer’s leased or owned Data centers, Customer operated Warehouse spaces,

and other areas as designated, providing on site Security support.

  • Hands-on involvement for assigned data center activities such as: conducting daily site

walks, diagnosing security hardware issues and reporting findings for immediate escalation.

  • Conduct inspections via provided forms of Critical spaces within the Data Center, including

Data Halls, Storage Rooms, loading docs, and other areas as assigned.

  • Support security & safety incidents as a first responder, documenting findings and providing

written reports.

  • Support high value/high priority rack moves and deployments, as a security over viewer.
  • Participates in the site safety compliance program by reporting violations.
  • Participating in physical audits for data center infrastructure.
  • Serve as primary responder for security related incidents at site.
  • Participate in developing site related processes & standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • 100% onsite support with no remote work

Qualifications

  • Ability to work with multiple cross functional teams such as Data Center Operations,

Logistics, Safety, XOC, etc. Follow specific task instructions and provide necessary reporting.

  • Ability to flex schedule as needed, including ability to work weekends, nights, holidays, as

needed.

  • Working knowledge or experience operating in a Data Center environment.
  • Experience in report writing and incident response ;
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills to be able to analyze hardware and

software problems; research and resolve complex issues; and interface with customers,

manufacturers, and technical support staff.

  • Ability to travel between assigned locations, including Data Centers, Warehouses, etc. as

needed.

  • Valid driver's license, with reliable transportation.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time with minimum rest or breaks.
  • Experience with Security Device functions, such as card readers, cameras, etc.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Experience with Incident Command Structure, specifically tier 1 responder.
  • Proficient in Office Suite. - Trained or willing to be CPR certified.

Field Engineer (Network Infrastructure)

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Field Engineer to join our Network Infrastructure team. This role involves conducting on-site network audits, supervising vendor works, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and external vendors (data center providers, ISPs, and cabling partners) to maintain and improve network infrastructure reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of network infrastructure and service partners.

Environmental, Health & Safety Operations

  • Implement and maintain Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and best practices for Data Centre operations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH is mandatory.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety management.

The Data Center Logistics will work in the warehouse/distribution center in IDC and handle

computer assets and peripherals. Typical duties include
