1. Company Overview

Anod Tech Industry (M) Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysian manufacturing company established in 2003, headquartered in Sungai Petani, Kedah. The company began with a focus on metal surface treatment and has progressively expanded its manufacturing capabilities in response to evolving customer requirements and industry demands.

Today, Anod Tech positions itself as a one-stop manufacturing solutions provider, combining metal processing, precision machining, plastic injection moulding, surface treatment, secondary processing and assembly capabilities. Its integrated manufacturing approach is designed to provide customers with greater flexibility, reduce the complexity of coordinating multiple suppliers, and support products from initial engineering development through manufacturing and finishing.

Anod Tech is a subsidiary of Lypometal Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (LYPO Group), giving it access to a broader manufacturing ecosystem with expertise in metal stamping, tooling, engineering, plastic processing and other industrial manufacturing solutions.

Located in the established industrial area of Sungai Petani, Kedah, Anod Tech serves as part of the region's manufacturing supply chain, supporting customers seeking precision components, value-added manufacturing processes and dependable production partnerships.

2. Core Manufacturing Capabilities

A. Precision Metal Stamping and Fabrication

Anod Tech supports the production of metal components through stamping and related metal processing operations. These capabilities are suitable for manufacturing applications that require consistent dimensions, repeatable production quality and efficient processing at scale.

Potential applications include precision metal brackets, housings, structural components, mounting parts and other customer-designed metal components, subject to product requirements and process feasibility.

B. CNC Machining and Precision Turning

The company provides CNC machining, CNC lathe and CNC turning capabilities for components requiring controlled dimensions, repeatability and precision finishing.

These processes support the production of machined metal components for industrial and electronic applications. CNC machining and turning can also complement stamping and other manufacturing processes where a product requires multiple operations to achieve its final geometry and specifications.

C. Plastic Injection Moulding

Plastic injection moulding provides manufacturing capability for plastic components used in customer products and assemblies. Combined with metal processing, this capability supports integrated metal-and-plastic manufacturing solutions.

Depending on product design and qualification requirements, metal and plastic processes may be combined to support components requiring different materials, functional characteristics or assembly interfaces.

D. Surface Treatment and Finishing

Surface treatment is one of Anod Tech's foundational areas of expertise. Its publicly described process offerings include:

  • Anodizing

  • CED coating and AED coating

  • Wet-paint spraying

  • Hairline finishing

  • Sand blasting

  • Laser engraving

  • Printing

  • Auto-tumbling

  • Tapping and other secondary operations

These processes support requirements related to surface appearance, corrosion protection, finishing consistency and product identification. The appropriate treatment depends on the base material, customer specifications, environmental conditions and required performance characteristics.

E. Secondary Processing and Assembly

Beyond primary manufacturing, Anod Tech offers secondary processing and assembly-related capabilities that help transform individual components into more complete customer-ready products.

By combining machining, stamping, finishing and assembly operations where appropriate, the company can support manufacturing programmes requiring multiple process stages and coordinated production control.

The precise availability of individual processes, production capacity and qualification status should be confirmed against the specific project requirements.

3. Engineering, Research and New Product Introduction

Anod Tech's engineering and R&D support is intended to assist customers during new product introduction (NPI), from early design consideration through manufacturing proposal development.

Engineering support can help assess component geometry, material selection, process suitability, production efficiency and finishing requirements. Early engagement allows potential manufacturing constraints to be identified before mass production.

Key areas of support include:

  • Review of engineering drawings and product specifications.

  • Manufacturing process selection and feasibility assessment.

  • Evaluation of material and finishing requirements.

  • Coordination of tooling and production preparation.

  • Support for prototype, trial and qualification activities, subject to project scope.

  • Identification of opportunities to improve manufacturability, consistency and production efficiency.

This engineering-led approach helps align customer design intent with practical manufacturing requirements while supporting a smoother transition from product development to production.

4. Integrated Manufacturing and the LYPO Group

Anod Tech operates within the wider LYPO Group manufacturing ecosystem, which brings together complementary manufacturing businesses and technical expertise.

The group's capabilities include metal stamping, tooling and die-related expertise, sheet metal fabrication, die casting, plastic injection moulding, surface treatment and other industrial manufacturing solutions.

This broader ecosystem provides opportunities to coordinate complementary processes across the group, depending on the project scope, technical requirements and production allocation.

For customers, the potential benefits include:

  • Access to complementary manufacturing processes.

  • Better coordination between component production and finishing.

  • More flexible sourcing arrangements for multi-process products.

  • Opportunities to simplify supplier coordination.

  • Engineering collaboration to identify suitable manufacturing methods.

  • Potential for integrated component and assembly solutions.

The group's broader capabilities should be distinguished from the processes directly performed at Anod Tech's own facility. Specific manufacturing locations and process ownership can be confirmed during project evaluation.

5. Industries and Potential Applications

Anod Tech's combination of metal processing, machining, plastic moulding and surface treatment is relevant to a range of manufacturing applications.

Electronics and electrical equipment

Precision brackets, housings, mounting components, mechanical interfaces and finished metal or plastic parts.

Telecommunications and networking equipment

Metal enclosures, structural components, mounting hardware and other precision mechanical parts used in communications and networking products.

Data centre and computing infrastructure

Potential applications include equipment housings, rack-related components, mounting brackets, mechanical support parts and other metal or plastic components, subject to design requirements and customer qualification.

Industrial and general manufacturing

Machined components, stamped parts, finished metal products and supporting assemblies for industrial equipment and related applications.

These are potential application areas based on the company's manufacturing capabilities, rather than a verified list of all current customers or approved programmes.

6. Quality, Production and Customer Support

For precision manufacturing, consistent quality and reliable production execution are fundamental to long-term customer relationships.

Anod Tech's integrated process model supports coordination across manufacturing, finishing and assembly stages. For each customer programme, relevant controls may include drawing and specification review, dimensional inspection, process monitoring, finishing verification, production traceability and corrective action management, according to the applicable customer requirements.

A manufacturing partnership also requires clear communication between engineering, production, quality and customer-facing teams. These functions help address technical issues, coordinate production changes and support continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

Specific certifications, customer approvals, inspection capabilities and quality-system scope should be verified against the requirements of each programme rather than assumed from the company's general manufacturing profile.
