Falling for African Tours and Travel Ltd. is a Nairobi-based tour company seeking one full-time Marketing Specialist to promote safari products to Chinese and Kenyan markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote safari travel products for the Chinese and Kenyan markets.
• Manage Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Chinese social media accounts; publish safari photos, videos and articles.
• Generate customer leads, respond to online enquiries and promote travel products.
• Write marketing copy and create simple promotional materials.
• Build partnerships and collaborative channels, follow up with potential clients and support order conversion.
• Assist with TRA tourism roadshows, promotional materials and on-site partner engagement.

Requirements

• Fluent English and strong copywriting skills; Chinese is preferred.
• Experience in social media operations and basic photo/video editing.
• Interest in travel; knowledge of Kenyan national parks is an advantage.
• Proactive, outgoing, and strong communication and client-development skills.
• Must reside in Nairobi.

Base salary: KES 20,000 plus sales commission.

Responsibilities

• Book and confirm hotel stays and safari vehicle reservations.
• Coordinate with hotel and vehicle suppliers on availability, rates and orders.
• Prepare booking confirmations, update records and handle changes or cancellations.
• Respond to customer and travel-agent enquiries by email and WhatsApp.
• Maintain accurate supplier information and support the marketing team with travel packages and TRA roadshow materials.

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple bookings.
• Nairobi resident.
• Travel or safari booking experience and knowledge of Kenyan safari suppliers are preferred.

Base salary: KES 20,000 plus sales commission.
