The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components to high safety and quality standards. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive remuneration and long-term career progression. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Perform welding operations on steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminium Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols Measure, cut, and prepare metal components prior to welding Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks on completed welds Maintain welding equipment and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on site/workshop Adhere to company quality standards and ISO/EN welding procedures where applicable Requirements: Professional welding experience in industry (structural, fabrication, manufacturing, construction) Relevant welding certification/qualification (e.g., QQI/FETAC Level 5/6, ISO 9606, AWS, or internationally recognised equivalent) Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications Valid Safe Pass / CSCS card (if applicable to your sector) Strong attention to detail, commitment to workplace safety, and ability to work independently or as part of a team How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit a detailed CV outlining relevant experience and certifications through Jobsireland website This vacancy is open to all eligible candidates.
