Meath Job type: Full time Salary: €36,605 – €40,000 per annum Athboy Blasting Centre is hiring Vehicle Technicians. We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to deliver top-tier service, working with a variety of vehicles. Position Summary: As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to the highest industry standards. You will work to scheduled maintenance timelines, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Service and maintain vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines. Diagnose, test, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools. Perform routine servicing tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and tyre fitting. Conduct thorough brake inspections, replacements, and alignments. Carry out hybrid and electric vehicle battery health checks in line with manufacturer guidelines. Produce detailed technical write-ups for retail and warranty work. Work closely with the Service and Parts departments to ensure timely availability of parts and accurate repair updates. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Assist with general workshop duties as required. Skills and Experience: A relevant qualification in motor vehicle technology is desirable but not essential Minimum 1 year of experience as vehicle technician Exposure to all types of vehicles is an advantage Good communication skills Attention to detail Qualifications & Requirements: National apprentice qualification or equivalent Full, valid, clean driving licence. Not mandatory but an advantage.
