Mayo , F23 K294 Naughtons Car Dismantlers Ltd is one of Ireland's leading vehicle recycling and used parts specialists. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing team in Belcarra, Castlebar, Co. Mayo. This is a full-time, permanent position offering Monday to Friday working hours (9:00am–5:00pm) with no weekend work. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and dismantling modern vehicles, removing engines, gearboxes, suspension and other mechanical components, identifying quality reusable parts for resale, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently. The role also involves moving vehicles around the yard using a forklift and materials handler where required (training can be provided). Key Requirements Qualified mechanic or strong mechanical experience. Excellent mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability. Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full driving licence. Forklift and/or materials handler experience is desirable but not essential. Reliable, hardworking and committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety. What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience. Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm. No weekend work.
