Job Description
About the Position: Serves as Chief of the Environmental Engineering and Technology Section responsible for the management and full range of supervision of staff providing investigation and design of highly complex and large scale Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) projects.
Forecast resource requirements and resolves conflicts relating to resource constraints.
Assign team members; prioritizes, plan, schedule and execute project specific work; monitor work activity budgets and cost growth.
Prepare budgets that assure adequate resources to effectively meet current and future needs of customers.
Serve as a consultant to other Federal Agencies in the northwest on special problems involving HTRW.
Serve as an advisor to state, county, or municipal government officials on local co-op programs.
Act as Contracting Officer's Representative on professional services and architect-engineering (A/E) contracts when designated.
Supervises and assesses performance of 8-18 technical staff, assuring high quality documentation and customer service.
