Job Description
Manage daily operations of Server, Storage, and HCI infrastructure including health checks, monitoring, capacity management, alert handling, and housekeeping.
Perform L2 troubleshooting for incidents such as host down, datastore issues, storage latency, VM performance degradation, cluster warnings, and hardware faults, ensuring recovery within SLA.
Handle virtualization and HCI activities including VM provisioning, snapshot management, datastore/storage administration, resource allocation (CPU/RAM), cluster monitoring, and runbook execution.
Support storage and server operations including volume/LUN provisioning, performance and capacity monitoring, hardware replacement coordination (RMA), firmware updates, and lifecycle management.
Execute routine changes, basic RCA for recurring incidents, coordinate with cross-functional teams (application, database, network, security), handle basic switching configuration, escalate to L3 when required, and maintain proper documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as L2 in Server, Virtualization, Storage, or HCI within an enterprise environment.
Hands-on experience in virtualization platform operations (VM, host, cluster, datastore management, and basic performance troubleshooting).
Experience in HCI environment monitoring, cluster/node operations, and basic issue handling.
Experience managing enterprise-grade servers and storage systems.
Strong understanding of monitoring, incident handling, SLA compliance, and infrastructure documentation practices.
