Cork , T23 YW62 Little Hands Churchfield Afterschool Service Churchfield Cork Vacancy: School Aged Care Practitioner Duties of the Role: To assist in the day to day organisation and running of the Afterschool Care Programme, providing high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4-12 years old in a safe and secure environment. Planning and implementing creative and exciting activities and play opportunities for the children. Supporting children in social, emotional, physical development. Conflict resolution / behaviour management. Working within the framework of the Centre’s and school’s policies and procedures. Requirements for the role: Minimum of 1 years’ experience in working with children First Aid Certificate an advantage Child Protection training an advantage QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education is desirable but not essential
