We are now looking to fill the role of a Replenishment Specialist to be based at our Harare Office. The Replenishment Specialist will ensure optimal product availability at customer distribution centres and stores through data-driven forecasting, proactive inventory management and strong collaboration between Customer, Demand & Supply Planning, Sales and Physical Logistics. The role safeguards service levels, minimises waste and drives continuous improvement across the replenishment and order-to-cash value stream. A Day in the Life of a Nestlé Replenishment Specialist:Replenishment planning and inventory optimisationUtilise forecasting and planning tools to develop optimal replenishment orders within Nestlé or customer VMI/CMI systems.Balance service levels, inventory targets, capacity constraints and customer delivery requirements.Monitor system alerts, stock holding, demand changes, lead times, delivery windows, network flows and new product introductions.Out-of-stock risk managementProactively identify out-of-stock vulnerabilities through analytics on demand patterns, stock levels and forecast deviations.Lead mitigation actions including dynamic stock allocation rules, prioritised customer replenishment and cross-functional escalation.Ensure early and clear communication to Sales, DSP, Physical Logistics, Customer teams and other relevant stakeholders.Customer collaboration and issue resolutionAct as the key operational contact for VMI/CMI customers on stock-related issues.Provide timely visibility to customers on supply risks, recovery plans and stock movements.Partner with customer teams to optimise DC-to-store performance and reduce stock losses.Exception and order fulfilment managementCollaborate with CSA teams to resolve exceptions such as load optimisation, carrier selection, credit blocks, delivery delays and appointment constraints.Lead root-cause identification and long-term corrective actions to minimise recurrence.Support accurate and timely order fulfilment aligned to OTIF and COF metrics.Billing, returns, claims and deductions supportSupport CSA in proforma invoice creation, billing corrections and exception resolution.Guide mitigation for product refusals to minimise financial impact while maintaining customer goodwill.Ensure claims and deductions are validated and processed within SLA to protect customer experience and financial accuracy.Continuous improvement and digital enablementIdentify process gaps and improvement opportunities across replenishment, forecasting, order processing and exception management.Promote automation, data-driven decision-making and system enhancements.Participate in market or regional projects related to supply chain optimisation, VMI upgrades or analytics.

Qualifications and Experience

What Will Make You SuccessfulCollege/University degree required.2-4 years preferably operational experience in an order fulfilment role or similar market/trade structure.Experience working for or with a customer in a collaborative environment will be beneficial.Experience in other Supply Chain functions such as Physical Logistics or Sales support will be beneficial.Experience in related business improvement projects will be an added advantage.Good knowledge of Order-to-Cash flow, customer service best practices, sales orders, clean orders, order accuracy and timeliness.Good understanding of logistics processes, including materials handling, transport optimisation, plant and transport route determination.Strong data analysis capability with good working knowledge of Excel; ability to convert data into actionable information.Excellent SAP, EDI process and Office Applications knowledge to support business operations and reporting requirements.Good communication skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively.Strong service orientation, ability to influence with integrity, persistence, proactivity and ability to work effectively under pressure.
