You will serve as a Production Machinery Mechanic in the Voyage Repair Team (VRT) of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER. You will utilize a variety of methods, procedures and techniques to manufacture, adjust, relocate, maintain, align, and install multi-functional mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems and components of ALRE production equipment. You will establish and perform preventative maintenance inspections in order to ensure efficient production processes and maintain mission readiness as well as diagnostic malfunctions early. You will interpret complex multi-view drawings, sketches, manufactures' specifications, and other technical material. You will maintain technically sophisticated machinery and equipment consisting of complex interrelationships among components.
