You will serve as a Painter Supervisor I in the PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. You will plan weekly/monthly work schedules and worker assignments to accomplish projects; plans sequence of work operations for subordinates and any special work methods to be used. You will coordinate availability of any special tools, materials, equipment, and assist with trade help required. Reviews and redirects resources as needed. You will attempt to foresee and eliminate potential bottlenecks by own coordination with other groups, or by recommending action to higher supervisory levels, if necessary. You will assign tasks, tools, equipment and materials to workers; lays out work for the group; interprets plans and instructions, as necessary; instructs workers on proper work methods, difficult work operations. You will keep all work operations under close observation and control; resolves working problems and takes action to overcome bottlenecks, equipment breakdowns, material shortages and other delays, requesting special permission. You will monitor the use and care of equipment, and safe work practices. You will ensures proper quantity of work from subordinates, inspects work for quality and conformance with instructions/specifications, and is responsible for validity/correctness of all temporary services performed.
