The New World Screw Production Facility Branch Chief provides leadership and supervision to the NWSF at Moore Airforce Base (MAB). The Branch Chief is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and direction of the assigned Branch in the New World Screwworm Facilities. The duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides leadership and technical direction in the formulation and execution of programs and policies related to APHIS’ support services at the NWS Production Facility. Planning and program development of the overall NWS mission, goals, and policies. Interprets broad program and policy objectives, and a wide variety of difficult and important decisions regarding program capabilities in relation to resource availability. Directing appropriate revision or modification of plans to assure the efficient accomplishment of program objectives. Provides an organized, programmed approach for systematic, goal-related program reviews with a view to evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in terms of long- and short-range objectives. Assigns and reviews the work of staff to ensure timely performance, soundness, and value. Handles employee conduct matters or complaints that arise.
