Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software faults accurately.
• Repair smartphones, tablets and related devices.
• Replace screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers and other components.
• Perform software installation, updates, flashing, resetting and troubleshooting.
• Conduct quality-control tests before releasing repaired devices.
• Provide accurate repair estimates and explain technical issues clearly to customers.
• Maintain proper records of devices received, repairs completed and parts used.
• Protect customer devices, information and personal data.
• Maintain repair tools, equipment and a clean work environment.
• Manage spare parts responsibly and report low-stock or defective items.
• Meet agreed repair timelines and promptly escalate complex faults.
• Follow company safety, warranty and repair procedures.

Requirements

• Certificate, diploma or practical training in mobile-phone repair, electronics or a related field.
• Proven experience repairing smartphones and tablets.
• Strong knowledge of Android devices; experience with iPhones is an advantage.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve both hardware and software problems.
• Experience with screen replacement, soldering and motherboard-level repairs is an advantage.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Honest, reliable, organised and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
