Cavan , H16 DX45 Essential duties and responsibilities · Work off the production schedule · Read, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products · Ensure all required materials and tools are at your work station at the start of each day · Utilize tools such as a hand held, drill gun, and grinders · Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods · Continually evaluate weld machine performance and technology to improve cycle times · Accurately complete job cards to capture time and welding consumables used · Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards · Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified · Rework and/or repair welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes · Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures · Prioritize work flow through effective communication with management · Maintain a clean and safe work area Qualification requirements · Mig welding experience · 5+ years experience · Ability to read drawings · Basic reading skills and must be able to follow directions · Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly · Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem · High attention to detail and self-motivation skills · Work in a team environment and respect all teammates
