Preferred Certifications but not required: Oncology Data Specialist Certification - Certification offered by National Cancer Registrars Association This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Maintain liaison with staff physicians and allied health professionals; local, state, and national professional organizations. Assist in compiling and maintaining a comprehensive database utilizing the Automated Central Tumor Registry (ACTUR). Review standard and electronic patient medical records to identify cases of malignant disease, abstract and code information. Provide assistance to the Oncology Advisory Group and attends multidisciplinary tumor boards. Ensure accuracy and completeness of appropriate staging coding and inclusion of all pertinent patient data.
