Maintenance Officer

• Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and facilities.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance work.
• Maintain maintenance records and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor maintenance supplies and recommend procurement of materials and spare parts.
• Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules.
• Keep the workplace clean, safe, and functional.

• Diploma, HND, or vocational certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in facility or building maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors.
• May involve lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and responding to emergency maintenance issues outside normal working hours.
• Must observe all workplace health and safety procedures.
