Job Description
You will serve as a LEAD QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (SHIPBUILDING) in the Quality Assurance Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.
You will provide direct Work Leader guidance and direction to quality assurance specialists, both civilian federal employees and active duty military personnel, up through GS-12.
You will apply advanced and complex Quality Assurance Program concepts and requirements, operating principles, and methodology to manage program certifications for the assigned submarine fleet.
You will review Quality Assurance processes, procedures, specifications, drawings, and higher technical authority specifications to determine the adequacy of the Quality Assurance Program.
You will direct in-depth studies and investigations to analyze and resolve critical Quality Assurance problems.
You will represent the command in non-destructive testing (NDT), approving NDT equipment, materials, procedures, and acceptance standards
You will develop and deliver training maintain training plans, course content, training aids, mock-ups, schedules, and exams.
