This National Guard position is for a IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK) - Title 32, Position Description Number D0262P01 and is part of the WI JFHQ G6, Wisconsin National Guard. *****A Recruitment Incentive of up to 25% of base salary may be authorized for this advertisement***** (Note: This incentive is only applicable to employees entering the Federal Technician program) As a IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK) - Title 32, GS-2210-11, you will function as a technical specialist on issues relating to the wide area network (WAN) and local area network (LAN) systems and their integration in the network. The work involves network administration, optimization and performance in support of the supports the state's wide area command and control integrated network. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership.
