Sefa (Social Enterprise Finance Australia) is one of Australia's leading impact finance and advisory organisations. We work alongside social enterprises, not-for-profits, community organisations and purpose-driven businesses to help them access the capital, advice and strategic support they need to create lasting social impact.
We're seeking a highly organised and analytical Portfolio & Data Analyst to join our Impact Investing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong analytical and data management skills with a passion for social impact. You'll play a central role in managing Sefa's investment portfolio, supporting client relationships, improving operational systems, and helping the organisation measure and communicate its social impact through meaningful data and insights.
About the role

Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will:
- Support the management of Sefa's investment portfolio through borrower engagement, covenant monitoring, reporting, and investment administration.
- Build strong relationships with borrowers, co-investors and partners, providing responsive support and delivering an excellent client experience.
- Manage and improve investment operations and systems, helping to increase efficiency, streamline workflows and strengthen portfolio processes.
- Support Sefa's data management and reporting activities, ensuring the organisation can effectively measure, monitor and communicate its impact.

About you

- Experience managing data, reporting and business systems, with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience with CRM, workflow management and reporting systems such as Salesforce, Zoho, Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms.
- A growth mindset and genuine interest in impact investing, social finance and the social enterprise sector.
Experience in investment analysis, lending, consulting, financial performance analysis, or supporting impact led organisations will be highly regarded.
