Galway , H91 W30F Employer: Bluebird Care Galway We currently have Healthcare Assistant opportunities in Galway City & County. The Healthcare Assistant willbe providing care for clients in their own homes. You will be supported by our Clinical Governance & Management Team in our Galway City office. Role of Care Assistant: The Healthcare assistant’s primary role is to deliver personal care and assistance to a client in his/her own home. Healthcare assistants are responsible for the implementation of the requirements of the clients care plan, perform identified care duties and promote client comfort, dignity and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include . . . Assist the client with Activities of Living Pay due care and attention to all aspects of care duties carried out on behalf of the client Provide a high standard of care in compliance with Bluebird Care Policies. Qualifications & Experience: Healthcare assistants must have obtained the QQI Level 5 Modules "Care of the Older Person" and "Care Skills/Healthcare Support" (or equivalent) or have a minimum of one-years experience caring for others and be in a position to undertake the two modules outlined above during your employment which will be supported by the company. Qualities: Essential qualities of a Healthcare assistant include having a genuine concern for others, having the ability to demonstrate kindness, compassion and patience. Applicants must pass our full Recruitment and Training plan including Garda vetting and/or International Police Clearance if you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months. Employment Type: Permanet with flexibility but good availability is a requirement. Attractive salary and employee benefits offered: Minimum annual remuneration from €32691 per year based on 39 hours per week, additional hours up to 48 hours per week available.
