53.3681297302246;-6.35961484909058;Mount Hybla Nursing Home , Farmleigh Avenue , Farmleigh Woods , Dublin 15 , D15 Y977 Beechfield Care Group are currently seeking to recruit Healthcare Assistants (Senior Position) to assume responsibility for the care of residents and mentorship of Healthcare Assistant colleagues at following locations Mount Hybla Nursing Home, Farmleigh Woods, Dublin 15 Pay Rate: € 32691.00 per annum Additional: 10% Premium Saturday, 20% Premium Sunday, Overtime Premium Payments Contract: Permanent Working hours: Full- Time, 39 Hours per week Great benefits on offer: Free Meals on site; Paid training and Education; Free parking; Summer and Christmas Parties; Access to Pension Scheme; Employee Assistance Programme; Long service, Employee recognition and appreciation awards. Role Responsibilities: Lead, train and mentor new Healthcare Assistants; Work closely with nurse managers and staff nurses to maintain the highest standards of care; Undertake hygiene and dress care functions for residents; Safe manual handling and transfer of residents within nursing home; Delivery of food to and feeding of residents; Return of used trays and dishes top kitchen, leaving residents and their rooms neat and tidy; Bed making and linen changes; Provide incontinence and toilet care to residents, including emptying commodes and replacing catheter bags; Assisting trained nurses with provision of psychological and social support as needed; Continuous vigilance towards dignity, comfort, safety and whereabouts of residents; Continuous adherence to hygiene, health and safety regulations; Any other duties as required. Role Requirements: Relevant Healthcare Degree or Qualification: Nursing, Allied Health, Medical. or Mentoring, Training, Supervisory experience in healthcare setting; QQI Level 5 Award in Healthcare; Minimum 2 Years Care Experience; Track record as high performing healthcare assistant; Excellent communication and personal care skills; Knowledge of Healthcare Standards; HIQA, Infection Prevention etc.
