Eating Disorders Families Australia (EDFA) is the only national organisation providing support, education, advocacy and counselling solely for carers and families impacted by an eating disorder. EDFA was established by a group of passionate parents who wanted other families to have access to the support they lacked and therefore Lived Experience is at the heart of everything we do. EDFA operates five national programs across Support, Counselling and Education portfolios as well as a national advocacy program. EDFA is a 100% remote working and BYO device environment.
EDFA is pursuing an ambitious national growth agenda, including strong government funding proposals and exploration of scalable fee‑for‑service models.
