German Language Teacher

Location: Kitale, Trans Nzoia County

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and deliver interactive German lessons for levels A1–C1 following CEFR guidelines
2. Prepare students for Goethe-Zertifikat A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2 exams
3. Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and feedback
4. Create teaching materials and adapt lessons for online and physical classrooms
5. Maintain class records, attendance, and performance reports
6. Contribute to curriculum development and institute growth initiatives

Requirements

1. Minimum Qualification: Goethe-Zertifikat C2 or equivalent near-native proficiency. B2+ with proven teaching experience will be considered for A1–B1 classes
2. Diploma/Degree in German, Education, Linguistics, or related field – added advantage
3. 1+ years experience teaching German, preferably with CEFR levels
4. Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment
5. Proficiency in Zoom, Google Meet, Moodle, or other LMS platforms
6. Excellent communication and cross-cultural skills
7. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kitale, Trans Nzoia County
