You will serve as a Senior Engineer in the San Diego Detachment of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-12 and GS-13. You will apply complex methods and perform work on projects from design development through inspection and approval to final completion and documentation. You will plan, schedule, and conduct a detailed investigation of projects with several complex features. You will prepare and maintain pertinent documentation of assigned projects. You will conduct tests in a laboratory setting or on a range, and monitor specific parts of complex tests. You will collaborate and coordinate with team members consisting of government, industry, and academia. You will analyze test data, draw conclusions, and recommend changes either in procedure or in the item tested.
