Job Description
About the Position: As the Electronic System Control Craft Worker in Charge you will be responsible for performing a combination of shop, plant, and outside work at a multi-purpose power project. You will execute all tasks of a journey level electrician and in addition, direct and coordinate the acceptable quantity and quality of work from a semi-skilled and skilled work crew.
You will make recommendations for advance planning for crew work assignments, order materials necessary for the job, and mobilize resources needed to execute work assignments.
You will be responsible for scheduling equipment outages and coordinating work efforts with other crews and contractors.
You will provide verbal or written reports to higher level supervisors that describe the status of work assignments, causes of delay, and technical or personnel problems encountered while executing work assignments.
You will participate in job hazard analyses, request and hold safe clearances, and maintain a safe work environment for your crew.
