Job Description
About the Position: This position is located at Naval Medical Center San Diego in San Diego, California, Directorate of Clinical Support in the Radiology Department. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Advanced Leave Accrual may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Independently prepares patients, exam rooms, and procedure tables using techniques which are categorized as dirty, clean, sterile, or aseptic.
Perform clerical duties such as the triage and scheduling of patients after reviewing requests from physicians and other health care providers.
Assist in workload statistics and other records relating to Interventional Radiology activities and functions.
Assist the supervisor or senior Interventional Radiology technologist in: the correction of any performance improvement issues and be able to help correct deficiencies within their scope of practice.
