Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities Supervise research projects for postgraduate and undergraduate students. Teach the following modules: Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Introduction toMicrobiology, Molecular Biology and Animal Biotechnology. Supervise research projects for postgraduate and undergraduate students. Attract and manage research grants. Participate in outreach activities. Participate in income generation. Innovate and facilitate service delivery. Participate in curriculum development.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience Ideally, the successful candidate should possess a Master’s Degree in AppliedMicrobiology and Biotechnology, Biology or related with Merit and a Bachelor ofScience Honours degree in Biological Sciences (Microbiology and Genetics) or relatedfield with a 2.1 or better. A PhD in the related field will be an added advantage.
